This is one of my favorite restaurants in Sarasota. It has a great menu, and service has always been spot on. Decided to go for Valentines day, and unfortunately, they decided to not offer the bar bites menu on this day
Starfish Company
I should have taken a picture of the place, but you can see several on yelp, etc... Been going here for quite a few years, but since it's always so crowded I've avoided it for a while.
Shore
A cool place popped up on Longboat Key on the bay side, next to Mar Vista - which has been there for years. The décor and the building are great, good outdoor seating choices and eclectic menu.
Chart House
So this place was a tale of two tails. We went there and sat outside and had wonderful dinner, definitely a 4 star or better. I had the prime rib, Deb had the red snapper.
Venezia
Really like this place. The atmosphere is good, the pizza is even better. The choices are endless for pasta, and pizzas.
Columbia Restaurant
I thought it would be a good idea to go to this place and eat traditional tapas, share a meal, have their famous salad, etc...
Tide Tables
I really like this place, more so that Starfish because it has better views, appears cleaner and the people are very friendly.

We stopped by Disney Springs on our trip to Orlando and discovered several great Chef's have opened up shop there.
Morimoto Asia - Street Food
We love a good Ramen, and Morimoto is one of my favorite chef's, so it was a no brainer to try his restaurant in Disney Springs.
Volcano Hot Pot
Was really good, service was outstanding. One very nice lady walked us through the process and was very kind.
